Kweku Darko Ankrah is a historian, journalist, blogger and independent Researcher. He holds Diploma-in-Communication Studies and degree in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.He also holds LLB Law Degree from University of London and an MPhil in African Studies from University of Ghana. He is a Graduate Research Assistant and Ph.D. Student at the Institute of African Studies (IAS), University of Ghana. His early career started in journalism, teaching and later historical research. He is a contributor to Pan-African magazine Griot International Magazine and designs historical programmes for media houses, where he occasionally appears as a resource person. He is also involved in independent biographical and corporate research for families and corporate entities. He is currently working on a new book on Akan names, their strong names, appellations and meanings.
